N {ODD} SPACE
NIII SPACE is very ODD. We work together on socially engaged projects that change the way we think about the architectural profession. From experimenting with materials to working directly with the earth and the inhabitants of rural China, we create crafted and high quality spaces that delight across local and international scales.
ODD {Office for Decent Design} is interested in forward-thinking projects. We partner with stakeholders and local tradesmen to harness value in undervalued sites, buildings, and crafts to create sophisticated, layered spaces that build on local histories. We are excited about sustainable materials, working with the earth, and an aesthetic that is raw yet refined. Through participatory design methodologies, we empower communities because we believe that high quality architecture should be accessible to all. At ODD, we see architecture not just as a service but as a means to contribute to our collective sense of agency and our cultural, social, and environmental legacy.
